OKKO Group of Companies has received 80 tank cars, the production of which it ordered last year. Thus, OKKO has received the entire batch of 100 tanks ordered from TAS-Poltavvagon. Rail.insider writes about this with reference to the Central Railway Transport Corporation.

“At the moment, we have already received all 100 tank cars,” said OKKO Logistics Director Denis Gromov.

It should be noted that OKKO received the first batch of 20 units last summer and reported that the rest are planned to be received in early 2025. These are tanks for petroleum products, models with a carrying capacity of 68 tons.

According to Denis Gromov, before the replenishment, OKKO had 45 of its own tanks, some of which were intended for bitumen transportation, they were repurposed for diesel fuel. And the company leases more than 400 tank cars.

“By adding another 100 new units to this number, the company will become a powerful private operator of tank cars for transporting petroleum products in Ukraine,” he says.

OKKO also emphasizes that the new rolling stock will significantly strengthen the group’s logistical agility, will allow for faster and more profitable import of petroleum products to Ukraine, as well as provide transport services to other market participants.

As previously reported, the OKKO group of companies ordered 100 tank cars from a domestic manufacturer.
